About AZULA

Azula (they/them) Non-binary, queer, BIPOC Shibari artist.

I’ve been practicing Shibari for a number of years, drawn to it not just as an artform, but as a sacred practice. I consider Shibari a ritual of reverence, devotion, and deep connection.

For me, Shibari is more than aesthetics or technique; it’s a meditative, embodied language that opens portals into surrender and deep connection.

My work weaves together affective energy, power exchange, and ritual devotion.

I see this practice as a way home to the body. Whether it’s through stillness, breath, or intensity, Shibari can become a sacred tool for awakening.

I work with individuals, couples, and those on the path of conscious kink and ritual devotion.

My approach is inclusive and rooted in deep, embodied consent.

Whilst I warmly welcoming anyone who feels called to be tied by me with respect, presence, and care. I centre BIPOC, queer, disabled, and other marginalized bodies and communities.
